Call for applications for funding of thematic cooperation initiatives

One of the University’s tasks is to help solve key societal challenges. In order to successfully create such solutions, broad interdisciplinary collaborations within academia must engage with organisations outside the University. This is particularly emphasised in the 2016 Government research bill.

For a long time, Lund University has been involved in interdisciplinary collaborations, focusing on future challenges. This is also an important point in the new strategic plan. In order to facilitate new interdisciplinary partnerships within and outside the University, with a focus on future challenges, new initiatives must be launched. To enable this, Lund University is calling for applications for funding of thematic cooperation initiatives, starting 2017, amounting to a maximum of SEK 500 000 a year for 3 years with the possibility of an extension for another 2 years.

The application deadline is 1 April 2017. The funding will be allocated as of the autumn semester of 2017. If you have questions, please contact Head of Office lisa.thelin [at] fsi.lu.se (Lisa Thelin) or Pro Vice-Chancellor bo.ahren [at] rektor.lu.se (Bo Ahrén). Applications are to be submitted to samverkan [at] lu.se.
