Do you teach at Lund University and want to further develop your teaching? Applications for the autumn training in teaching and learning in higher education are now open. The registration deadline is 8 June 2023.

Applications for the autumn training in teaching and learning in higher education are now open. They are aimed at members of staff who teach at Lund University and want the opportunity to gain permanent employment, become eligible to supervise doctoral students or further develop their teaching.

To be eligible for permanent employment as teaching staff at Lund University, you must have completed at least five weeks of training in teaching and learning in higher education. The two courses that fulfil this requirement in our offering are:

  • Lärarrollen i högre utbildning/Teaching and learning in higher education
  • Kursansvar i högre utbildning/Course design in higher education

Doctoral students with teaching responsibilities are expected to attend at least the first of these.

In order to be eligible to supervise doctoral students, you must undergo supervisor training. The relevant course in our offering is:

  • Forskarhandledning/Doctoral supervision

Among our qualifying training, you will also find several other courses you can take to develop your teaching skills, such as: Att handleda uppsatser (To supervise essays), Open networked learning and The good lecture.
