As part of the work with Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE), Lund University is announcing calls for funding to stimulate collaboration and activities that strengthen our international impact in research, education, innovation and cooperation. 

The purpose of the seed funds is to pave the way for new collaborations with leading international universities and create exchanges of experience that further develop the international environment at Lund University.

This is the fifth time that funds have been announced. Among those who have received seed funds so far, many are planning for continued collaboration and are seeking additional funds from external funders.

Get Started Funding 

Apply for funding to develop collaborations with the potential to lead to externally funded research projects and joint publications

Target group: Researchers with a PhD degree who are employed at Lund University and colleagues with a PhD degree at selected partner universities in countries recently associated or soon to be associated to Horizon Europe

GloHub seed funding for education and/or research collaboration 

Apply for funding for research and education collaborations with National University of Singapore, UC Berkeley or University of Melbourne, i.e. partner universities in the LU-led project GloHub 

Target group: PhD researchers at LU and PhD colleagues at the National University of Singapore, UC Berkeley or the University of Melbourne.

Target group: teachers and researchers who are employed at LU

Monash-Prato workshop for doctoral students on academic writing and publishing

The workshop, organised by Monash University at their Prato campus in Italy on 15–19 June, aims to improve participants' skills in preparing, writing and publishing an article or book chapter

Target group: Doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences and related fields such as law, economics/economic history and sustainability studies.
