Every year, the university-wide research board announces funding for university-wide research infrastructure. Interdisciplinary research environments of particular strategic significance for the University are the focus of the current call for applications. If these environments are also linked to several faculties, this is considered an asset.

The call for applications for university-wide research infrastructure funding takes place once a year. The decision on allocation is taken by the vice-chancellor after preparation by the research board and its working group for research infrastructure.

The research infrastructure that can be considered for central funding is primarily advanced instruments, electronic archives/databases and service staff or support for users for long-term use, maintenance and development of the infrastructure.

A minimum of SEK 250 000/year can be applied for and the maximum amount is SEK 10 million. The infrastructure can be awarded funding for a maximum of 5 years. Approved project funding is to cover both direct costs and overheads. Applications are to be submitted no later than 31 March 2021, at 09:00, to ansokan [at] fs [dot] lu [dot] se.
