The call for applications for university-wide research infrastructure funding takes place once a year. The decision on allocation is taken by the vice-chancellor after preparation by the research board and its working group for research infrastructure.
The research infrastructure that can be considered for central funding is primarily advanced instruments, electronic archives/databases and service staff or support for users for long-term use, maintenance and development of the infrastructure.
A minimum of SEK 250 000/year can be applied for and the maximum amount is SEK 10 million. The infrastructure can be awarded funding for a maximum of 5 years. Approved project funding is to cover both direct costs and overheads. Applications are to be submitted no later than 31 March 2021, at 09:00, to ansokan [at] fs [dot] lu [dot] se.
