Call for applications to the Pufendorf IAS are now open

The Pufendorf Institute for Advanced Studies at Lund University announces the yearly calls for application to Themes and Advanced Study Groups.

The Pufendorf Institute for Advanced Studies gives researchers at Lund University the opportunity to develop new interdisciplinary areas of research. Admitted groups work in so-called Themes or Advanced Study Groups (ASG).

A Theme revolves around a research issue, which best can be solved through knowledge from several disciplines in collaboration. The call forapplications, to form Themes to start in September 2022, is now open. Deadline is the 12th of January 2022.

An Advanced Study Group (ASG) gathers a group of researchers from different disciplines around a shared research problem. An ASG presents an opportunity to work together on a complex idea that is still at a veryearly stage of development. ASG’s are admitted twice a year. The next deadline for applications is November 10th, 2021 .

The Pufendorf IAS (Pufendorfinstitutet) is an interdisciplinary institute at Lund University, where researchers from all faculties at Lund University – from science and medicine to the humanities and arts – are invited to work together. The aim is to be a creative forum, an incubator for new ideas and a springboard for new research initiatives which will advance Lund university.
