Christmas present campaign to support LU’s research

The Development Office has produced a campaign called “Give research as a Christmas present”, which is being arranged for the second year running.

The primary message of the campaign is that you can make a difference by simply making a donation. In practical terms it could concern helping to reveal Uppåkra’s historical secrets or supporting the development of cures for serious viral diseases. Providing support for research helps to make the world a better place.

Support from the private sector is important for Lund University’s activities in many different ways. The campaign aims to spark curiosity about the University and its breadth in order to attract more people to participate and feel involved by making a donation of private funds to research. A number of pre-selected research purposes, combined with the option to easily Swish a donation, opens the way for both more donations and donations of small sums.

The primary target group consists of students, alumni, existing donors as well as others who have some kind of connection that makes them interested in supporting research at Lund University.

The campaign is conducted through advertisements on social media (mainly Facebook and Instagram).
