Coordinated Examination Service

Part 1 of the Coordinated Examination Service project is proceeding according to plan and from 1 March the project will be responsible for staffing invigilators for the exams conducted at the Annex (Sölvegatan 20, Lund).

This is the first step towards a joint examination administration and organisation using an exam invigilator pool. This will be gradually increased to apply to all joint examination halls at LU.

The recruitment process is now under way for the positions that will handle the practical and administrative duties in connection with exams. The project will lead to more efficient management of exams for the entire University with university-wide invigilated exam guidelines, better conditions for forms of digital examination and collected expertise providing better quality for invigilated exams.

The project aims to coordinate solutions in order to free up premises and working hours at the faculties for administrators, teaching staff and directors of studies. The preconditions for the project to achieve results are that faculties are inclusive and that there are plans for a joint examination building, which also includes adapted premises for students with disabilities.

The project’s steering group is led by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Lena Eskilsson and consists of representatives from the faculties/equivalents, LUS and the central administration. The project manager is Elin Engman, LDC.
