The researcher who wins the University’s competition will progress to the national final in Stockholm in late November.
Signing up for the University’s competition gives you an opportunity to:
- receive individual coaching in presentation technique
- stand on stage and make a public presentation
- practise summing up what is most important and interesting about your specific research – skills that can be used in other contexts such as conferences, seminars and pitching to funding bodies.
This year’s competition will be held in Helsingborg on 24 September. Individual coaching will be given in August and September, with a possible start-up meeting in June.
Your presentation can be in English or Swedish, depending on which language you feel most comfortable with.
Keivan Javanshiri, doctoral student at the Department of Clinical Sciences, who won the national Researchers’ Grand Prix in 2019, says “It was very enjoyable to be involved. The personal coaching helped me a lot, by reviewing my presentation and getting feedback.”
