Increased knowledge and understanding of what women go through during menopause contributes to a better work environment. There are now several planned initiatives to support this. Managers are offered a course that aims to help them provide better support to staff. And staff members are invited to a seminar.

Menopause is a phase of life that all women go through but which is experienced in different ways and has considerable importance for health and working life.

“It’s important to gain knowledge about self-care and how as an employer you can help to enhance wellbeing through physical activity,” says Pernilla Ny.

A seminar entitled “We must talk about menopause” is being arranged in conjunction with International Women’s Day for all staff members with the aim of breaking the silence surrounding menopause and contributing to increased empowerment.

Time and place: 5 March 2026 13:00 to 14:00 | Forum Medicum. The seminar will be held in Swedish.

There will also be a course for managers entitled: “Menopause in working life – how managers can provide support”. (In Swedish).
