The main cordoning off of the area will take place from 1:00 p.m. on May 22. However, starting May 4, Lundagård will be filled with posters and boxes. From May 14, the car parks at Byrålogen will be closed off.
Paradiset and Lundagård during the carnival days (22–24 May)
During the carnival, the area is closed off. You can only get to the area through staffed entrances, and you need a valid admission ticket. To improve safety and prevent unauthorized access, there are special rules for entering certain university buildings in the area.
The carnival area will be closed off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22. After 1:00 p.m., you can leave the area, but you will need to pay the entrance fee to enter again. The carnival ends at midnight on Sunday, May 24. After that, normal access rules apply.

Day by day
4–10 May: The Lund Carnival will have access to Lundagård from May 4. Fences will go up on May 5, but you'll still be able to walk on the footpaths and the park will stay open. We expect to deliver several kiosks and containers this week. This may cause some noise in the area, but we don't think it will affect nearby buildings.
11–17 May: Tents are being put up in Lundagård, which may make it hard to get into the park and some parts of the Paradis neighborhood. The work is not expected to have any significant impact on nearby buildings.
15–19 May: Work is starting on the stage outside the Main University Building. The work will continue for most of the work week and will block parts of the footpaths in the area. Construction involving heavy machinery may cause some noise. During the week, window protection will also be installed on the southern part of the Main University Building. Starting on May 15, the site will be expanded to include parts of the Paradis block and the surrounding area around Byrålogen.
17–22 May: The focus is on decorations, setting up the tent attractions, and establishing restaurants and other businesses. There will be fewer transport movements, but many carnival-goers will be moving in and around Lundagård and parts of the Paradis neighbourhood. In the eastern part of Paradis, a restaurant area is being built, and Barnevalen is being set up in the Byrålogen car park. From 18 May, the car park north of the Historical Museum will be used for containers.
22–24 May: There will be lots of activities at Carnival in Lundagård and parts of the Paradis neighborhood. The area is closed off, and you can only enter through the staffed entrances. You can find more information on building access below.
25–27 May:Clean-up days and dismantling: tents will be taken down and the area reset to how it was before. There will be a lot of traffic and activity in the area while the park is being cleaned.
