Lund University, via the vice-chancellor, has joined the Climate framework for higher education institutions. The Climate framework is a framework for higher education institution-specific climate strategies where the University undertakes to continue to help society achieve set targets through education, research and external engagement. The University also undertakes to reduce its own climate impact with long-term goals and to communicate this. The Climate framework provides support for, but does not replace, the University’s own climate work, in which everyone needs to contribute by reducing their climate impact e.g. by choosing digital meetings and trains instead of flights.
