In short, the updated vice-chancellor's decision from 17 June states that the University will, from the start of the autumn semester, begin gradual and orderly adaptation to educational activities which are not restricted. This entails, among others, that teaching and assessment of study performance may be conducted on the University's premises from the start of the autumn semester. Adaptation is to be completed by 1 November 2021.

Adaptation will take place based on the conditions at each of the organisational units as well as the Government’s and Public Health Agency’s recommendations.

Doctoral studies are covered by the same conditions as education. The vice-chancellor tasks the dean of each faculty with deciding in detail how this is to be carried out. This decision cannot be delegated further. Current restrictions for education apply until 17 August

The vice-chancellor's decision from 12 May states that teaching and assessment are to continue to be conducted digitally with no physical presence on the University’s premises according to the conditions referred to in the decision, up to and including 17 August 2021.

Employees who do not need to be at the workplace to maintain necessary activities are to work from home up to and including 15 September 2021. The line manager assesses the possibility for such work while taking activities and the work environment into account.

Employees who must physically attend the workplace to teach, assess study performance and carry out related activities may return to the workplace earlier, in accordance with the information specified under for education above. The line manager assesses the possibility for such work while taking activities and the work environment into account.

From 16 September 2021 until 1 November 2021, the next phase of the gradual and orderly adapation to operations which are not restricted by the Covid-19 pandemic will be implemented. Adaptation will take place based on the conditions at each of the units as well as in relation to the current rate of infection, the Government’s plan for rolling back restrictions and the Public Health Agency’s general advice and recommendations.
