On 9 October 2025, PhD students from across Lund University will gather to present research, exchange ideas and build networks across disciplines and faculties.
This year’s theme is ‘Sustainability pluralism: approaches, regions, actors’. It is time to explore new directions in how we formulate sustainability challenges and develop responses to them. The conference will be held at the Faculty of Law in Lund and will open with a keynote lecture by Torsten Krause from LUCSUS (Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies): ‘Epistemic pluralism in interdisciplinary research – Where are we now and where are we heading?’. The programme will then continue with research presentations, seminars, panel debates, workshops and poster sessions, all from a sustainability perspective.
The conference is organised by the Agenda 2030 Graduate School and is open to all PhD students at Lund University with an interest in sustainable development. Subject to availability, master’s students, postdocs and PhD students from other universities are also welcome. Lunch and coffee are provided free of charge.
