Sign up for the 2020 Lundaloppet run

You can now sign up for this year’s Lundaloppet run, which will take place on 9 May. As usual, Lund University will cover the cost of the registration fee and Lundaloppet T-shirt for all its employees.
Participants waiting to run the race

The run is on 9 May, and the regular registration deadline is 21 April. Preliminary start times are: 13:30 (10-km classes) and 14:30 (5-km classes).

You can choose to run five or ten kilometres. There is also a five-kilometre untimed class. The course goes past Gerdahallen, among other places, through the southern hospital area, around the main University building and continues on through Lundagård.

All participants must first register (free of charge) individually via LU’s registration form, available in English. However, you must participate as part of a team of five. The best idea is to find colleagues and form a team together. Team registration is via Lundaloppet’s team registration page. If you do not have a team, the organisers will include you in a suitable team.

All the University’s participants receive a T-shirt with the LU emblem on the back. After the run, LU Service offers drinks and light refreshments in a tent close to the finish at the Central Sports Ground.

The warm-up session, start and finish are all at, or close to, the Central Sports Ground in Lund at Trollebergsvägen 26.

The course winds through many different areas of Lund and you run past many interesting historical sites, see course map.

There will also be a number of side events in conjunction with the run.

Last year, City of Lund entered over 1 000 participants and we were the second-largest employer in terms of the number of entrants. This year, we want to be the largest.
