Basic course in AI for all staff members
The first initiative is a basic course in AI aimed at those who have just started, or not yet begun, to use generative AI in their everyday work. The course provides an introduction to AI and information about the University’s Copilot tool, how you can approach prompt design and which rules you need to observe. The course also includes tips about where you can get more in-depth information on specific aspects. At present, the course is only available in Swedish. An English version will be available at a later date.

There is now a webpage, “AI at Lund University”, under Support and tools. It includes information on the University’s generative AI tool, Copilot, as well as links to other resources within the University that could be useful in your work involving AI.

Questionnaire on AI use
To get an idea of current AI use, a questionnaire will soon be sent out to a number of randomly selected staff members to obtain a snapshot of how AI is being used, or not being used, in everyday work. The aim is to understand what AI is being used for or what support is needed so that more staff members can get started. Keep an eye on your inbox and take a few minutes to answer the questionnaire if you are one of the recipients.
