Update on the deputy vice-chancellor selection process

On Friday 8 September, the Electoral College held a vote as part of the deputy vice-chancellor selection process. The result was 19 votes for Sylvia Schwaag Serger as deputy vice-chancellor and 14 votes against.

Votes were recorded for 43 of the 48 Electoral College members eligible to vote. Two of the votes were declared invalid and eight were blank votes.

The Nominating Committee will sum up the process this week and the University Board will make a decision on the matter on 20 September.
