Workshop with The Conversation
Are you a researcher or a PhD student interested in reaching a global audience with your work? Lund University offers all its researchers the opportunity to share their research with the world through the international news platform, The Conversation.
In this interactive workshop, The Conversation's science editor, Miriam Frankel, will guide you through The Conversation's background, goals, and editorial process. We will also discuss the importance of communicating your research to the public, including tips on style, tone, and structure with concrete examples. Additionally, we will explore how to pitch your ideas and different approaches to writing articles. Bring your ideas!
Practical information
You will get the most out of your participation if you:
- Read some articles on The Conversation to get a sense of what they publish.
- Think about the type of articles you might be able to write.
There are a limited number of spots available for the interactive workshop. Selections will be made to ensure diversity across research areas and faculties. Once your registration is confirmed, you will know that you have secured a spot.
Register by November 15th.
If you receive a confirmed spot but cannot attend, please cancel so that someone from the waiting list can take your place.
