LU News 4 | 2021

In this issue of LU News, pro vice-chancellor Per Mickwitz writes about what the University is doing on the sustainability front that is not just talk. You can also read about Ann-Kristin Wallengren’s sustainable trip by train to the LERU meeting in Utrecht.

There is a lot coming up. The inauguration ceremony for new professors is on Friday, and next week is Future Week. All staff members are invited to an information meeting about the University’s profile areas. The sphinxes are to be taken down for a while and the Pufendorf Institute’s calls for applications are now open.

“After the IPCC report, it’s clear that changes must be made rapidly. A lot of people are wondering whether the University is doing something about it or just talking.”

There’s a lot of talk about sustainability, but is the University doing anything about it?
