Here you can pitch news stories to the Lund University external news team.

The University-wide external news team is responsible for coordinating, prioritising and quality-assuring Lund University’s external news communications, and acts as a support for the University’s staff in their external communications work. Sanna Trygg is the editor of the team. 

For press support or to get in touch with the external news team, you should first contact the press officer at your faculty:

If you are not employed by a faculty and have an idea for a news story that could appeal to a broad external audience, please feel free to contact the news team via this form.

Write a short, impactful headline that clearly captures the core of your news item or idea.
Summarise the news (as you would in a lead paragraph of an article).
Explain why this is important right now. Is it new research? Linked to public debate? A trend or a policy issue?
Who is the intended audience? Suggestions on relevant external channel(s)?
Where is the research published? What is the scope of the study? How was it conducted?
Provide any relevant dates.
