Alumni Relations, Employability and National Student Recruitment Office

The primary purpose of alumni relations is to create, maintain and develop long-term relationships between alumni and the University, for mutual benefit. The Alumni Relations team fosters the relationship with alumni through targeted local and international events, as well as through various forms of communication such as the Lundensaren newsletter, the Alumni Network’s blog and various social media. Alumni relations help to strengthen the University's brand, contribute to quality assurance and acts as a tool for strategic cooperation with external partners. Alumni play an important role as role models and good examples for students. They also act as indirect marketers due to the fact that alumni's successes are examples of the quality of education and research at Lund University.
