Preventive work against discrimination

This page provides information about the University´s preventive work against discrimination.

Pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Discrimination Act (2008:567), the employer and education provider are to work with active measures. This means that the employer and education provider are to work continuously with preventive measures against discrimination and to promote equal rights and opportunities for all staff and students.

The systematic preventive work against discrimination is ongoing throughout the University, with the aid of templates and a board game to help getting started.

The results of the systematic preventive work against discrimination shall be reported annually in an equal opportunities report based on the chapter 3 in the Discrimination Act. The purpose is both to spread best practice and to facilitate the mandated documentation of the systematic preventive work against discrimination.
