Projects may also aim to contribute to modernising higher education and to the democratic development in partner countries.
Applications can be submitted together with partners from about 150 countries worldwide. Applications for national projects must include one eligible Partner Country and at least two Programme Countries. Applications for multi-country projects, on the other hand, must include at least two eligible Partner Countries and at least two Programme Countries. All projects must include at least as many Partner Country higher education institutions as there are Programme Country higher education institutions.
