The sub-programme Knowledge Alliances involves projects that focus on collaboration between higher education institutions and businesses. Activities include: developing new learning methods; developing courses, programmes and other activities together with businesses; introducing a stronger focus on entrepreneurship within education, etc.
The projects aim to increase innovation in Europe and to promote innovation within higher education, business and society in general.
Knowledge Alliances projects require a minimum of six partners from at least three Erasmus+ programme member countries, of which at least two are higher education institutions, and two are businesses. You can apply for up to EUR 700 000 for a 2-year project and EUR 1 million for a 3-year project.
The University's vice-chancellor must sign the application. In order for the vice-chancellor to be able to sign the application, the head of department and the dean must sign the supporting document together with the project manager.
External Relations takes care of the process to obtain the vice-chancellor's signature. Therefore, the supporting document must be completed, signed and sent to fredrik [dot] klintberg [at] er [dot] lu [dot] se by 7 February 2019 (the deadline within the EU is 28 February 2019).
