Prizes and Distinctions
a module for prizes and distinctions
The purpose of this module is to show information on prizes and other professional distinctions that have been awarded to researchers at Lund University.
Why should I add prizes in LUCRIS?
All LU researchers are free to enter prizes, awards and distinctions they want to highlight in their personal profile on the research portal, which can also be selected (all of them or only some if you wish) in the CV module. It’s also possible to create links between your prizes and distinctions and other information in LUCRIS, such as projects, activities and publications. NB: External people added to a prize must be asked for their consent.
It is possible to create relations between prizes and information in other modules to place the distinction in a context.
How do I add prizes in LUCRIS?
The easiest way to enter prizes and distinctions is to go into LUCRIS, click the ´+´ in the Prizes module and select a suitable type of prize or distinction.
What types of prizes can I enter?
Use the subtype that corresponds to the prize, award or distinction in question.
- Prize (including medals and awards)
- National/international honour: including honorary degree
- Election to learned society: e.g. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Royal Physiographic Society of Lund etc.
- Other distinction
Organisations that want to be able to edit their researchers' Awards can give an administrator the role Editor of Prizes.
