Help and support

everything you need in the LUCRIS jungle

The LUCRIS support organisation is semi-centralised, which means that you can send in any questions to servicedesk (our central support). Depending on the nature of the question it will be answered either by your local support at the faculty, or by a suitable person within the LUCRIS-administration. We welcome all your questions!

Information that should be entered

When LUCRIS was launched 2016 all of the university's faculties agreed on a minimum level of data entry in the system. The minimum level requires all researchers at Lund University to add the following in LUCRIS:

The agreed minimum level for admission to LUCRIS is as follows:

Researcher profiles

Basic data such as names and contact details of employees at Lund University are automatically retrieved from LUCAT and are available in LUCRIS. Researcher profiles for active researchers are made publicly visible in the Research Portal unless there are special reasons to hide the profile externally. The researcher (or an administration) should add more information manually to the profile:

  • Subject classification according to UKÄ
  • Research description in English and Swedish

Additional profile information can be entered according to the researcher's own wishes or according to possible local (faculty) practice. Profile picture is recommended.

Units

Organizational units at Lund University that have research activities can be found in LUCRIS. This information is automatically imported from LUCAT to LUCRIS. Units are updated in LUCAT.

Research output (publications)

Bibliographic information on scientific and popular science output produced at Lund University from 2002 onwards is registered in LUCRIS (see previous decision Dnr LUB 2007/2 Registrering av vetenskapliga publikationer). The faculty libraries are responsible for reviewing the bibliographic information for the publications according to separately agreed practices.

Awards (contracts)

Information about all received external funds and contracts is sent (normally by finance administrators) to Research Service for registration in LUCRIS. The contracts are simultaneous entered in w3d3) according to instructions from Research Service.

Project

The following research projects are registered manually (by researchers or administrators) in LUCRIS:

  • Externally funded research projects
  • Doctoral project

Link to the relevant contract is established for each individual project. It is also voluntary to register other types of research projects, for example internally funded projects.

Activities

Researchers or administrators manually register research related activities. In some the cases the activity is already captured during projects or research outputs. See any faculty-specific practice.

Prizes and awards

Do your search either by using the module with the information or with the global search.

  • Click on the module you want to search within.
  • You will see a list of your own registrations, and at the top is the search box. To search outside of your own registrations, remove the 'My Content' filter.
  • Make your search, and you will  find that which is in the database within that module.
  • If you want to save a list, it can be done in different formats via the light grey strip at the bottom of the page, 'Download list'.
