Ergonomics

This page contains things to bear in mind when thinking about ergonomics.

Adapt the work environment and duties according to physical and cognitive abilities

Ergonomics focuses on adapting the work environment and duties according to our physical and cognitive abilities. The aim is to minimise adverse strain, promote health and optimise performance through the correct design of workplaces, equipment and working methods.

Your employer is responsible for providing you with the conditions for good ergonomics and opportunities for flexibility during the working day.

Pause program and health promotion during working hours

Taking short breaks at work allows for recovery, promotes better health and boosts energy. This could be in the form of movement, simple exercises to stimulate circulation, or going for a walk.

By installing the Pausit program on your computer, you can plan your breaks and get inspiration and tips on simple exercises. There are exercises for everyone. The health promotion hour and health promotion benefit can also help you to be physically active during working hours.
