Access card – LU card
As an employee you will receive access after you have been registered in Lucat (the Lund University staff directory). If you are not a staff member, but need access to any of the University’s premises, please contact the building supervisor or equivalent. This also applies if you are employed and need increased authorisation.

- Groups of 20 or more can be booked for other hours. Submit your booking request to lukortet [at] lu.se
We will email you a code to your LU card, either the same day or the day after you receive your card.
If you forget your code to your LU card

If you lose your LU card
It is important to cancel your LU card if you lose it. When a new LU card is issued, your old one is automatically cancelled. So if you have lost your card, you should go to one of the card‐issuing stations as soon as possible and get a new card. Otherwise, you can notify lukortet [at] lu.se of the loss and your card will be cancelled.
If your LU card is not working
Contact your local administrator to make sure that you have been authorised correctly or that the locks are working. If you experience difficulty accessing the facility outside regular working hours, please call the emergency telephone number +46 46 222 07 00 for emergency opening assistance.
When your employment at the University terminates
When your employment at the Lund University terminates, so does your authorisation, and you need to return your LU card in accordance with the procedures at your place of work.
