LUCRIS handles publications, but also other forms of research output. The difference between the different types of Research Output in LUCRIS, is described very thorough in LUB praxis document (NB only in Swedish at his point, see the guidelines on our side for Manuals on the Swedish site).
In LUCRIS you can register the different output types which are requested in the new SwePub guidelines and also some others. If there are any hesitations which publication type to use, please get in touch with your reviewer or the support.
How to enter Research output in LUCRIS

The Research output review process
All research output that is registrated or are added manually or imported from different databases are validated before made public. This means that when an output is registrated it is sent For validation, after a reviewer then validated the post it will be public in the portal. Before it has been validated it only shows on the personal researcher LUCRIS web page.
After the registration and saving of the publication as For validation it is sent through the system to your responsible reviewer. The reviewer is set by the unit you have chosen under Research output managed by… (the validation is automatically assigned the department you mainly are affiliated to), but you can always contact the support when you have questions regarding your registration and validation. When the reviewer has validated your information it’s made public in the portal.
Entry in Progress
If you are not ready to send your record further in the system, but you have filled in all mandatory fields, you can save it in the location Entry in Progress instead of For validation.
If a reviewer miss importet information a submission can be sent back to you, the post will then be labeled as Entry in Progress again. You will get a message about this from LUCRIS and can go in and add missing information and then resend it for validation.
If you update an already validated and public record with for example a new publication date / status or a full text file the record will end up at For Re-validation for your local reviewer who can do the changes public. During this time the record is in the state of For Re-validation the post in in the portal will be the already validated post, as soon as the re-validation is done then new information will be vvisibel at th e portal.
