Open procurement

When you are about to purchase goods or services for which the contract value exceeds the threshold of SEK 1 169 000, and no contract currently exists, you shall submit a procurement request to the Purchasing and Procurement office.

Procurement exceeding the threshold must always be managed by Purchasing and Procurement. Request procurement by submitting the order form:

Allow yourself plenty of time

Bear in mind that open procurement takes time. For example, it takes about three months to draft the contract documents. There is also a statutory requirement for a minimum of 40 days of advertising. The estimated time from the receipt of a request until the procurement is between 6 and 8 months.

Regulated by the Public Procurement Act (LOU)

The Public Procurement Act (LOU) regulates in detail the permitted activities of public authorities with regard to the purchasing of goods or services.
