Register your interest in the AI Days today
The AI Days will be held at Lund University on 1-2 December 2026. The event is aimed at the University’s teaching staff, researchers and administrative staff.
The programme will include lectures, panel discussions, workshops, practical examples and opportunities to share experiences. The content is currently being developed and will highlight both the opportunities and challenges posed by AI in the University’s operations.
The aim of the AI Days is to create a shared forum for the exchange of knowledge, discussion and inspiration relating to AI, and to strengthen the University’s overall work in this field.
The AI Days are being organised by the Ad Hoc group in collaboration with AI Lund and the Unit for Educational Services. The AI Days will be held partly in English.

Share your experiences of AI with others
As a teaching staff member, researcher or member of administrative staff, have you tried out new ways of working, explored new tools or encountered challenges that others could learn from? Would you be willing to share your experiences during the AI Days?
The Ad Hoc Group welcomes initiatives both large and small. Please contact adhoc [at] rektor [dot] lu [dot] se (adhoc[at]rektor[dot]lu[dot]se) by 30 September.
Learn how to use prompts effectively
As well as the AI Days, there are plenty of other opportunities to develop your skills. This autumn, the Ad Hoc group is organising workshops on AI in everyday working life, both in person and online via Teams.
During the Copilot demonstrations, you’ll see practical examples of how the tools can help you summarise information, edit text and get a clear overview in applications such as Outlook, Teams and Word. You’ll also see how Copilot can be used to support planning, meetings and communication.
A workshop entitled “Effective Prompting” focuses on how to formulate clear instructions for generative AI tools. You’ll learn the basics of prompt design, be given a practical checklist, and have the opportunity to ask questions, try things out for yourself and discuss them with other colleagues.
Please register your interest in taking a course in English and we will be in touch: adhoc [at] rektor [dot] lu [dot] se (adhoc[at]rektor[dot]lu[dot]se)
