Old photos to be removed from the Image and Media Bank

Starting on 1 February, all portrait photos will be withdrawn from the University’s Image and Media Bank after ten years.

From 1 February, all portrait photos will be automatically removed from the University’s Image and Media Bank ten years after the photoshoot date. This is being done to comply with the rules on personal data processing. Photos featuring people other than staff members, such as students, will be depublished after seven years. Photos of individuals under 18 years old will be withdrawn after three years.

If you have photos of yourself that you wish to keep, you must download them by 24 January at the latest.
