EUGLOH, the European University Alliance for Global Health, is part of the EU-funded European Universities programme in which Lund University participates together with Université Paris-Saclay (France), University of Szeged (Hungary), University of Porto (Portugal) and LMU – Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany).
The summer also saw the welcome news that the EUGLOH programme will receive extended funding from Erasmus+ and that more partners will be added: Universidad de Alcala (Spain), University of Tromsø (Norway), University of Novi Sad (Serbia) and Universität Hamburg (Germany). Together we will continue to develop teaching and research in the name of exchange and cooperation both physically and digitally.
The gathering in Paris was attended by some 30 staff and students from LU and we spent the days meeting in different groups, listening to interesting lectures and round table discussions and, not least, networking informally, which we hope will contribute to the development of this fruitful and important collaboration.
It is even more exciting to announce that next year’s Annual Summit will take place in Lund from 12 to 14 June, as the picture shows. All interested parties at LU are invited to participate in various ways and we hope that these days will further spread knowledge of EUGLOH.
Thank you to everyone who took part in Paris!
