Mail

Package, mail, pallet, internal mailing codes

You can send letters and packages within and outside the University. The University Postal Service administers the letter and package shipments, and offers a courier service, envelope stuffing and addressing.

NEWS!
New way to send packages, 1 May 2025

On 1 May 2025, LUPak will be shut down and the page paket.lu.se will be closed. Package shipments will thereafter be made via PostNord's service Skicka Direkt Business.

To be able to send packages with PostNord, your business needs to have a customer number that you apply for here. (New tab) The application opens on 1 April and it can take up to five working days before your customer number is registered.

Try to keep the number of customer numbers down within your faculty/section; you will be able to add users, afterwards, to your customer number. Note that the person applying for a customer number will also become the responsible administrator in the system.

Once you have received your customer number, you can log in to PostNord, add additional users, track your shipments, and send your packages. The invoice will, as usual, arrive in Lupin/Proceedo.

When your application for a customer number has been processed, you will receive more information via email from PostNord.

Internal mailing codes

In order to send a letter to someone by internal mail you will need to know the internal mailing code of that person or organisation. Your own internal mailing code determines where you will pick up letters that have been sent to you.

The easiest way to get a persons internal mailing code is by searching on Staff Pages.
