Premises, resources, prices and conference venues

Here you will find information on how to book premises and resources through the TimeEdit booking system.

Booking premises

To book premises, log in to the TimeEdit booking system using your LUCAT ID. Please note that the requested premises are not booked until you have received a confirmation via email.

Authority and code strings
To book a venue, you need to have the financial authority to do so and a code string or a course code. The meeting rooms of a department or equivalent can in many cases be booked free of charge and no financial authority is required.

Premises information
The booking system contains information on the venues, such as the number of seats and equipment. You can also find out what resources or additional services can be ordered. You will only see the premises and resources that you are authorised to book. At the bottom of the booking page, you can view the bookings you have made under “Mina bokningar (My bookings)”

Access to the premises is automatic, the doors open when your booking starts, unless otherwise stated in the booking system. If the premises are booked before your time slot, the person who booked the previous time slot is entitled to utilise the full period, which means that you will have to wait until the participants in the activity have left the premises. You may expect to start your activity after a maximum of 15 minutes.

Cancellations
You cancel your bookings in the booking system. If you cancel your premises booking more than 30 days in advance, no amount is debited. If you cancel 30–14 days before, half the amount is debited. The full amount is debited if a cancellation is made later than 14 days before the date in question.

Booking premises in the main University building

Please note that bookings made for 2023 and onwards are only preliminary due to the planned rebuilding work at the main University building. This applies even if you have received a confirmation email via the booking system. 

Main Auditorium
There are two options for booking the main auditorium:

  1. Book only the premises with existing equipmentbook via the booking system and send an email to universitetshuset [at] service [dot] lu [dot] se. You will receive an email with a booking form, which you are to fill in. When you have received the form back, the booking is confirmed. Please note that there is an additional charge for setting up existing equipment.
  2. Book the premises with conference services and more advanced technical solutionssend an email to bokning [at] service [dot] lu [dot] se.

The Pillared Hall
To book lunch and dinner events in the Pillared Hall, contact

Conference venues

For help and advice regarding suitable places and venues for meetings, conferences and congresses, please contact bokning [at] service [dot] lu [dot] se. If you wish to book events at the Old Bishop's house, contact gamlabiskopshuset [at] service [dot] lu [dot] se.
