Conditions for assignments with LU Conferences

Following an update to the regulations governing which services LU Conferences, as part of a government authority, are permitted to provide to organizations outside their own, they will henceforth only be able to offer their services to clients from Lund University, or in cases where Lund University is a clear co-organizer of the event. LU Conferences is not permitted to sell conference services in the same way as a commercial operator.

For LU Conferences to be able to provide conference services, the following conditions apply:
•    Lund University must always be the host or co-organizer of the event.
•    All costs must be invoiced to a unit within Lund University. The unit may in turn invoice the costs onward to an external party.
•    LU Conferences may invoice an external partner outside Lund University if the invoice concerns sponsorship funds for an agreed amount.
