Useful features to be aware of
Make it easier for your contacts by setting up forwarding from your phone when you are not reachable. Lund University's telephone forwarding service is called Salut.
Do the following:
- Open Salut
- Log in using your Lucat ID.
- Click on forwarding in the menu on the left to set the current referral.
- If you have recurring forwarding needs, such as lunch, you can make a favourite by clicking on the green circle with a plus sign.
In Salut you can:
- Set up forwarding when you are in a meeting, on holiday, etc.
- Search for a user's name to find their five-digit extension number.
- Search by extension to see who the number belongs to.
- Browse through the organisation and get lists of employees at the University.
Do you need help?
There is a user manual inside the Salut service, which you can find if you click on the question mark in the top right corner.
Order a transfer to or from Lund University's agreement with Tele2 at support.lu.se
If you want to move your mobile subscription to Lund University's agreement with Tele2
The subscription must not have a fixed term or be an unregistered prepaid card.
If you want to move your mobile subscription from Lund University's agreement with Tele2 to a private individual or company
Once Lund University has approved the number transfer, contact the desired operator and order a new mobile subscription with your personal or company details. The subscription remains active in Lund University's agreement with Tele2 until it is moved to a new operator agreement with a new owner.
If you choose not to buy a data package when surfing abroad with your mobile phone, there is still protection against especially high costs for data traffic abroad in all Lund University mobile subscriptions. The ceiling is SEK 550. Once you have used data amounting to a value of SEK 550, you will receive a text message from Tele2, after which your data traffic will be temporarily suspended.
If you are outside the EU, Tele2 cannot always guarantee that data traffic will be blocked immediately, and you may therefore be charged a slightly higher fee than SEK 550. But the protection still works, no matter where you are.
When things go wrong
If you have any problems or questions regarding telephony, please contact the Service Desk, servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se.
Report a fault with your mobile phone
Things to consider before reporting a fault:
- Have you tried restarting your mobile phone?
- Have you tried inserting the SIM card into another mobile phone?
- Have you verified that the mobile extension is activated?
- Verify mobile extension
You can temporarily switch the mobile extension service on or off from your mobile phone using the following codes:
- Activate mobile extension, dial 92143
- Deactivate mobile extension, dial 92243
When you report a fault with a mobile extension, we need to receive examples of calls to solve the problem. Please prepare the following information before contacting Servicedesk (in order of priority):
- Your name and how we can reach you (phone number or email address)
- Your extension number (the last five digits of your phone number in the format +46 46 22x xx xx)
- Your mobile phone number
- The date and time of the call that did not work
- Describe the error as accurately as possible. For example, 'A can't hear me, but I can hear A', or 'the call quality is poor and the sound is choppy'.
- Does the problem occur when you try to make a call, when someone calls you, or both?
- Where are you when you experience problems? Is it always at the same address, or does it happen at different locations?
- The dialling number (called A-number)
- The receiving number (called B-number)
Report a fault, landline telephone

Mobile phone fault report (hardware itself)
Report mobile phone faults to the phone supplier.
NB: Before sending your iPhone or iPad in for repair or service, deactivate the “Find My iPhone” function. If “Find My iPhone” is active, the service centre is unable to register the device in the Apple service system, and service cannot be performed. This feature is designed to prevent stolen iPhones and iPads from being distributed and used.
If you have lost your phone or it has been stolen, you should immediately block both the subscription and the phone (hardware).
Do the following:
- Report the loss to the police by calling 114 14 or registering your report via the police website polisen.se. You will need to enter your phone's IMEI number and the operator's name, Tele2. The number is on the box your phone came in.
- Block your mobile phone subscription. Email Tele2, tele2avtalskund [at] tele2 [dot] com, and state the reference number given to you by the police and your IMEI number to block your subscription. The information is passed on to all mobile operators in Europe that are connected to the security network, so that your mobile phone is also blocked on their network. Once the lock is activated, only emergency calls can be made from the phone.
- Contact Servicedesk about the loss of your mobile phone. Servicedesk can also help you block your mobile subscription. servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se (servicedesk[at]lu[dot]se)
If the phone turns up again
- Contact Tele2 at tele2avtalskund [at] tele2 [dot] com. Enter the police reference number and the IMEI number to unblock.
- You can also send an e-mail to servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se to unblock your subscription.
Strong authentication
If you use your mobile phone for strong authentication, you may have the Freja+ app on it. Here is some advice on how to quickly regain access to the app.

You can find more information under the In Case of Emergency tab in the top menu. In particular, take a look at Data Privacy (GDPR) and IT Security.
While Traveling
When travelling in EU and EEA countries, you can use the data included in your mobile phone subscription as if you were in Sweden at no extra cost.
You can always make calls when you are in countries inside and outside the EU and EEA, but at a high cost. To avoid high costs, you should order an add-on package called Ringa utomlands till ett fast pris (call abroad at a fixed price).
This applies when you are calling and surfing within the EU/EEA (but outside Sweden):
- Calls and SMS messages are not free.
- Your mobile extension is disconnected.
- Calls and SMS messages are charged according to the price list, Traffic charges in the EU/EEA (see price list above).
- You can use the amount of data included in your subscription, up to 100 GB.
This only applies if you are abroad yourself. If you call from Sweden to these countries, you will be charged for international calls.
If you are travelling outside the EU/EEA, you can order add-on services for data and calls to your mobile subscription at a fixed price.
Place your order at support.lu.se
When an add-on service is activated, it is valid until further notice. If you no longer need the service, you can cancel it by contacting servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se (servicedesk[at]lu[dot]se).
All Lund University's mobile subscriptions (except mobile broadband subscriptions) have a satellite connection block for calls, SMS messaging and data abroad as standard. This is because if you are on a boat or aeroplane and you are connected via satellite, it counts as an international call even if you are in Sweden or another EU/EEA country. Surfing, making and receiving calls, sending SMS messages and getting voicemail can be very expensive.
Click on the link below for examples of prices for calls and surfing on boats or aeroplanes.

If you are a manager, administrator, finance officer, IT technician
The Luted tool provides administrators with an overview and the opportunity to follow up on ordered telephony services and ensure that they are charged to the correct cost centre. In this context, “administrator” means, for example, the responsible manager, head of division or finance officer.
In Luted you can see which extensions and which telephone subscriptions belong to the cost centre. It is also possible to see the type of subscription and the add-on services that are active.
More information on Luted is available on the IT website. Log in using your Lucat ID.
