Parking spaces

Parking Zones

Lund University's parking spaces are divided into five zones: Budget Zone, Zone A, Zone B, Zone C, and Zone MV. You pay the lowest fee when you park in the Budget Zone and the highest fee when you park in Zone MV.

Charging Stations

Lund University has 24 charging stations distributed across parking spaces adjacent to Elektroteknik, Kemicentrum, and Geocentrum 2. To use any of these charging stations, you must first pay the parking fee. The charging stations are designed for up to 11 kW.

To charge your car, you need to download the Mer Connect Sverige app from Google Play or the App Store and register as a customer. Follow the instructions and then start charging your car. Please note that the parking office at Lund University cannot answer questions or take responsibility for the charging stations. All payments and contact regarding charging are handled via Mer Connect Sverige.

Guest parking

In the larger parking areas, there are ticket machines for guest parking.

Parking garage

Lund University offers 150 parking spaces on floors B -1 and A -1 in the Granathen parking garage at Tornavägen 10 in Lund. The spaces are located on the lowest floors. Follow the signs in the parking garage to find the spaces reserved by Lund University. Note the sign on the ceiling indicating where the university's spaces end. To park in a space beyond that sign, a parking permit from Region Skåne is required.

Parking spaces for disabled

A number of parking spaces are reserved for disabled individuals. To park in these spaces, a municipal parking permit for disabled individuals and a parking disc are required. The maximum parking time is four hours with a parking disc. To park for longer than four hours, a valid parking permit from the university is needed, in addition to the municipal parking permit for disabled individuals.

Reserved parking spaces

It is possible for departments to reserve a parking space. The reservation gives you priority to a specific space, and the price for a reservation varies. In addition to the reservation, the car using the space must have a valid zone permit or a day ticket. The space does not need to be personal and can thus be used by multiple people in the department.

Please contact the Parking Office for more information.
