W3D3 is the University’s collective system for the registration of documents and case management. Public documents are registered and stored in the system in accordance with the Records Management Plan.

There are two types of authorisation in W3D3: administrator and registrar. To obtain authorisation for W3D3 and to learn how to use the system, you must first undergo training. All training courses can be found in Kompetensportalen.

There are manuals to help you when working in the system, the manufacturer’s manual and the University’s customised manual. You can find them in W3D3 under the tab “manuals”.

If you have any technical issues or problems with your login and password, please contact the LU Service Desk at servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se (servicedesk[at]lu[dot]se). This is also where you should turn if you need to change your authorisation or your personal details in the system, for example if you have a new email address or change workplace.
