Child and Family Health's profile in Lund University Research portal

Description

The research group Child and Family Health conducts research and education at all levels in pediatric nursing and care. The research and education focus on how care for children with long-term illness and their families can be developed and improved, how educational efforts can reduce violence in the home and how different forms of e-health can strengthen self-care for children and families. The research takes place in close collaboration with health care providers and is led by Professor Inger Kristensson Hallström. Implementation of research results in practical health care has proven to be of great importance for individual children, their families and for health care. The research group is international and multidisciplinary and consists of nurses in various specialties, physiotherapists and doctors with psychologists, technologists and health economists connected to the research group. We have a large international collaboration.
