Description

Health Law Research Centre started in 2018 and is an interdisciplinary research environment at the Faculty of Law. The research environment's activities include research, teaching and collaboration in the subject of health law in a broad sense. Health Law Research Centre brings together established and junior researchers in medical law, public law, social law, children's law, elder law, disability law, human rights and AI research. The research takes place in close collaboration with national and international researchers and practitioners in medicine, epidemiology, dentistry, life sciences, social work and medical ethics. Research in the environment aims to draw attention to and resolve a wide range of legal issues concerning people's living conditions and health, as well as to strengthen their rights in various health care situations regionally, nationally and internationally. As part of the research environment's educational activities, several courses in medical law are conducted.
