Kompetensportalen (roughly: the competence portal) is part of a commercial platform maintained by Grade AB and provides internal training for employees at Lund University. The HR Division at Lund University is responsible for the website.

  • Kompetensportalen contains many separate documents that have been uploaded and published in connection to each course. These documents are individually produced and therefore may have accessibility issues.
  • There may be sections with insufficient contrast between text and background.
  • There may be videos without subtitles.
  • Pages for system- and course administrators are not adapted to be compliant with the accessibility regulations to digital public services.

The basic functionality of the platform is regularly tested by the supplier Grade AB. The platform currently meets the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Each content owner is responsible for testing the accessibility of their content on the platform. Lund University provides comprehensive support for producing and testing content to comply with the regulations.
