Education Board

In accordance with the Lund University Rules of Procedure, a university-wide Education Board was established in 2012.

The Education Board “shall deal with strategic education matters in the first and second cycles where a decision at faculty level is inappropriate owing to their university-wide nature. The remit also includes principles for quality assurance and quality enhancement. The Education Board is first and foremost a preparatory and advisory body. The vice-chancellor may delegate decisions on certain issues to the Board”.

The vice-chancellor has adopted regulations on the allocation of decision-making powers at Lund University, which included regulations on the University-wide Education Board. A plan of operations for the Board in 2019 was adopted on 26 February 2019. 

Under “Documents” you will find a quick reference guide, containing instructions and good advice on how to process matters to be handled by the Education Board, as well as templates for statements and general decisions.
