Education Board

University-wide board on education issues

In accordance with the Lund University Rules of Procedure, a university-wide Education Board was established in 2012. Here you can read more about the Board's mission, current members and upcoming meetings.

The Education Board shall deal with strategic education matters in the first and second cycles where a decision at faculty level is inappropriate owing to their university-wide nature. The remit also includes principles for quality assurance and quality enhancement.

The Education Board is first and foremost a preparatory and advisory body. The vice-chancellor may delegate decisions on certain issues to the Board.

The vice-chancellor has adopted regulations on the allocation of decision-making powers at Lund University, which included regulations on the University-wide Education Board.
