As of 1 June 2023, you are to book all rail travel in Europe via the Danish rail travel agency, Togrejse.
However, all air travel, airport transfers, rail travel connected with air travel and domestic rail travel are booked as previously via BCD Travel.
The University has signed an agreement with one of Denmark’s largest travel agencies, which specialises in rail travel abroad. Other universities that already use Togrejse include the University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University. It is hoped that the new agreement will make it easier and less expensive to book rail travel and, not least, that more people will choose the train rather than the plane for business travel in Europe.
How to book your rail travel in Europe
The agreement with Togrejser is on Lupin under Purchase, Travel and accommodation, Train travel abroad.
Bookings are made via a link to an online form. Remember that you can only state your work email address when booking, i.e. email addresses that end with lu.se or lth.se
The travel agency staff contact the traveller and make an individually tailored proposal that is as cost-efficient as possible.
