Last Friday, 28 new professors were inaugurated at a ceremony in the University Main Building's auditorium.
During the ceremony, one of the new professors, Helena Sandberg, gave a short popular science lecture on how important media is in children's lives for their learning, community and well-being.
Mia Huovilainen, President of Lund University's student unions, gave the students' speech to the newly installed professors, which was answered by Professor Martin Andersson. Musicians and singers from the Academic Orchestra and the Lund Academic Choir also participated.
