Seminar "How to run a university under war: experiences and coping strategies from Ukraine"

The main university building with a Ukrainan and a Swedish flag.

Representatives from the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev (TSNUK) will visit Lund, and all students and staff at the University are invited to a seminar to hear how they are maintaining activities during the ongoing war.

How do you create security and normality in a country where air-raid sirens and artillery fire are a part of everyday life? How is it possible to teach when students and teaching staff need to defend their country and can come under fire at any time and need to flee for their lives?

After a short presentation by the delegates, there will be a discussion and the audience will have the chance to ask questions.

The Faculty of Medicine is hosting the visit and welcomes staff and students from all the other faculties.

Time and place: 18 April 13:30-14:30, Eden Lecture Hall, Paradisgatan.

Register before 3 April, registration will close when capacity is reached.
