Take part in the Lundaloppet fun run on 4 May!

People running in a park.

Take part with your colleagues in the Lundaloppet fun run. As usual, Lund University will pay the registration fee on behalf of employees. You can choose between the regular Lundaloppet, which takes place on 4 May, or the Gold Package.

Lundaloppet, Skåne’s biggest fun run, brings together people of all ages to run or walk. You can choose between three distances: 2.5km, 5km or 10km.

“It is great that so many LU employees choose to take part,” says University Director Susanne Kristensson.

The University pays the registration fee for all those who have some form of employment at Lund University and are receiving a salary from the University at the time of the race. If you are on parental leave or sick leave, you can still take up the offer. Last year, 2023, 794 employees from the University took part.

You can register for Lundaloppet right up to one hour before the start, but if you have chosen the Gold Package you needed to register before 13 March.

This year’s official Lundaloppet T-shirt is included for all those Lund University participants who register by 21 April at the latest. And why not wear the T-shirt during the race?

Participants register individually using the form below with your LU email address ending in lu.se or lth.se.

You can also form teams of up to five colleagues and run together. You do not need to run the same distance. Then you can take part in the draw for team prizes. Click on Team Registration and register your team at no extra cost.

If you know at an early stage that you will be unable to take part, remember to cancel by 20 April at the latest via info [at] lundaloppet [dot] se. If, after 20 April, you find you will be unable to take part, you can still cancel up until 3 May, but in this case the University has to pay for the T-shirt.

Last year, it was unfortunate that 278 registered runners (26%) did not turn up for Lundaloppet, even though they had signed up, something that incurs unnecessary costs for the University.

Thank you for taking part and contributing to the festive atmosphere on 4 May.
