Webinar: Noam Chomsky on language, mind, and thought

Pjoro of Noam Chomsky. Wikicommons.

Professor Noam Chomsky has agreed to give an online seminar on the topic of "Language, Mind and Thought" on Thursday, 29th of September

The seminar will be in the late afternoon to accommodate the time difference.

"Language, Mind and Thought" on Thursday, 29th of September, 16.00-17.00. NB: 16.00, not 16.15!

Those wishing to attend please preregister to the organizer mehdi [dot] sabzevari [at] ling [dot] lu [dot] se to get a Zoom link.

For more information, visit SOLs website (unpublished).

Prof. Chomsky has expressed the wish that the seminar be interactive and take the form of question and answer session, based on questions from colleagues (and students). To save time at the actual seminar we are now collecting questions in advance from colleagues in subjects relevant to linguistics and cognitive science. We will order questions we get thematically, and if necessary ask you for clarification, and then send them to Chomsky so that he can prepare in advance.

Anyone who has questions they would like to ask Chomsky is invited to send them to the research manager in linguistics, Mikael Roll (mikael [dot] roll [at] ling [dot] lu [dot] se). Write "Chomsky Questions" in the subject line.

Deadline for questions was Monday, 19th September.

We look forward to an exciting seminar!
