You are warmly invited to visit the Main University Building on Lund’s Culture Night 2025

The Main University Building will open its doors for Culture Night. Parts of the building including the atrium, auditorium, pillared hall and consistory will be open for visitors to look inside.

Open house between 14:00 and 18:00. Welcome!

The Main University Building awaits renovation

The Main University Building, completed in 1882, is now in need of renovation. 

Extensive internal renovation work on the building will focus on aspects such as improving technical systems, creating a good indoor climate and optimising accessibility.

In 2025, the Main University Building will be open to visitors on special occasions such as ceremonies and concerts. 

The Main University Building will close for renovation in 2026 and is expected to open again in 2030.
