The article, "The people we like can influence the connections our memory makes," achieved 1.4 million reads.

Over the summer, three articles from Lund University garnered record numbers of readers. An article by Inês Bramão and Mikael Johansson from the Faculty of Social Sciences achieved 1.4 million reads, making it the most-read article from Lund University ever.

The article, "The people we like can influence the connections our memory makes," was republished in a Greek journal, and it is these republications that help articles reach a wide audience. Two other highly read articles from the summer came from the Faculty of Medicine: Christel Nielsen's article, "Tattoos associated with a 21% greater risk of lymphoma – new study," with 160,000 reads, and Mattias Tranberg's "Why are some people happy when they are dying?" with 67 000 reads. The latter was republished by The Greater Good Science Center at Berkeley, among others.

A total of 16 articles were published during the summer months.
