Help shape the future of advanced therapies and train the next generation of research leaders.
The RAMP-UP Doctoral Programme invites researchers from all faculties at Lund University to submit doctoral research project proposals in regenerative medicine and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).
Open call for doctoral research projects: 3 November – 30 December 2025
RAMP-UP (Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products – United for PhD Excellence) is an EU-funded doctoral programme coordinated by Lund University’s Lund Stem Cell Center, in collaboration with Leiden University Medical Center, Hannover Medical School, and the Technical University of Denmark. Together, we aim to advance innovation across the full ATMP development pipeline — from discovery and engineering to clinical translation, policy, and ethics.
Researchers from a wide range of disciplines are encouraged to apply, including:
- Experimental and clinical sciences
- Engineering and technology innovation
- Health economics and policy
- Ethics, law, and regulation
- Social sciences and related fields
Your research can play a vital role in developing the next generation of cell-, gene-, and tissue-based therapies.
